Two things worth knowing about per-m² prices before you compare quotes:
- Small roofs cost more per m². Scaffolding, skips, edge trims and travel cost roughly the same whether the roof is 6 m² or 60 m² — so a porch roof will always be dearer per square metre than an extension.
