The Challenge
A roof that people step out next to is judged up close. This one sits beside a balcony outside a set of bifold doors, with a rendered wall on one side and a raised kerb between the balcony and the main roof. Every edge is a junction: the kerb, the balcony, the walls and the open edge above the garden.
Our Solution
Fatra PVC single ply in grey, the membrane we fit as a Fatra approved contractor. The sheets are hot-air welded at the laps, and the membrane is carried up the walls and over the kerb, so the balcony and the main roof are finished in the same material.
The Outcome
Finished in grey Fatra PVC, edge to edge. The balcony, the kerb and the main roof read as one surface, with no change of material where they meet.
