No instant calculator can do justice to a 5,000 m² warehouse with rooflights, fall arrest, and a tight phased programme. But these benchmarks give you a sanity check before we speak.

Commercial roofing questions

The questions QSs, FMs, and building owners ask most. Anything else — just call.

Which manufacturer warranties do you offer?
Up to 25 years, manufacturer-backed, depending on system and application. All systems we install carry full BBA certification. FM Global approved options available where insurance terms require it.
Are you FM Global / BBA / BRE approved?
We are certified installers for all systems we offer — most of which carry BBA, BRE, and / or FM Global approvals. We supply documentation of the specific approvals at quote stage so your QS or insurer can verify before sign-off.
Can you work around live operations?
Yes — most of our commercial work is phased around live trading or production. We’ll programme weekend, evening, or shutdown work as required and provide daily reports.
Do you provide RAMS and ISO 9001 documentation?
Yes. Project-specific RAMS, COSHH assessments, fire risk method statements, and manufacturer specs are issued at award stage. We can supply our ISO 9001 / SafeContractor / CHAS certificates on request.
What about insurance and public liability?
£10m public liability and £10m employer’s liability cover. Certificate provided to clients and QSs at contract stage.
Can you upgrade insulation as part of the install?
Yes — most commercial replacements include a warm-roof insulation upgrade to meet current Building Regs (typical U-value 0.18 W/m²K). Non-combustible PIR or mineral wool depending on building height and use.
How quickly can you start?
Survey within 5 working days, quote within a further 5 days. Lead time for install is typically 4–8 weeks depending on project size and system order times — faster for emergency work.
Do you take on tenders outside South Yorkshire?
Yes. Our commercial reach is wider than our domestic work — we travel for the right project. We've worked in Oxford, the North East, and the Midlands. Drop a line and we'll tell you honestly if we’re the right fit.
